While working on the finishing touches on Faith Home, the crew has begun site work for the basketball court and soon-to-start Joy Multipurpose Building! We are planning for a Building Dedication for Faith Home on June 3, 2024, and we are planning for the basketball court, retaining walls, parking area, and grading for Joy to be finished by then as well so the boys can move in right away! We are so thankful all has gone well so far and we anticipate getting started on Joy in the next two months. While Joy is under construction, the current in-house and IL boys will move into the new building, as well as our offices and stock room, while the girls will move into the current rented boys’ home. This will allow us to accommodate up to 8 additional boys and 3 additional girls right away! Please pray for the construction to continue to go well, for wisdom in constant decision-making, for safety on the worksite, for the kids through all the transition, and for the new kids that God will bring!
