After more than three years of praying, searching, and raising funds, God led the Brand New Day team to a ideal lot of land in Silang. As of early 2020, the land is now in BND's name! The lot is approximately 5,400 square meters (1.34 acres) in size, accessed by a narrow cemented road. The land is abundant with coconut, lansones, jackfruit, soursop, and santol trees.

Our vision is for the front half of the rectangular lot to be for the community-accessible areas, including a full basketball court, playing field, playground, and multi-purpose building. The back-half of the property will be for the shelter homes and garden areas.

The Shelter Buildings are designed to have separate households of children on both the first and second floors, each with an identical layout.  Each household will function independently with separate houseparents.  This will allow us to divide children by ages and/or by stage in their rehabilitation process.  Each house is an open design with two bunkrooms sleeping up to six children in each. There is a separate bedroom for houseparents on-duty as well as a clinic/isolation room, dining area, study area, living area and kitchen.  The covered back porch has a dirty-kitchen area as well as laundry and clothesline area. The total area of both floors is 480 square meters.

The first-level of the Multi-Purpose Building will house a session hall that can seat at least 150 people, a kitchen, two classrooms, and both indoor and outdoor toilets.  Upstairs will have a larger classroom as well as admin offices for BND, study areas, and a counseling room. The back half of the building will be purposed for both large- and small-group guest house space. The total area of both floors is 644 square meters.

Our current plan is to build in phases, starting with the first Shelter Building, then the Multi-purpose building, the basketball court, and the other shelter buildings as funds are raised.

We are so thankful that God would entrust us with this vision to one day be able to house over 70 children, and reach out to hundreds more in the community, for their rehabilitation and restoration!
